My son (14) always thinks of different ways he can make money to save for things he wants. He’s an entrepreneur at heart. Well, yesterday when picking mangoes at his GiGis house, he decided that instead of eating them all, he would sell them to our neighbors for $.50 to $1.00 depending on the size.
Initially, I was nervous for him to go door to door and potentially being rejected, but he said, “What’s the worse that could happen? They say no and I will go to the next house.” Man, was I inspired! He taught ME a lesson. Just because you get a no, doesn’t mean you’re denied!! Just keep going.
As entrepreneurs, they achieve success by believing in their ideas, taking risks, recognizing opportunities, being consistent and overcoming obstacles. Let’s encourage them daily!!
